We welcome you to Partin Elementary School.  Through the years at Partin we have had endless opportunities to work together to create an exciting and successful environment for students.  It is our desire for school to be a positive educational experience for all children.  our staff, parents, and students make Partin Elementary an outstanding school.

Arrival & Dismissal

School begins at 8:35 a.m. each morning and dismissal is at 3:05 p.m., except for Wednesdays when it is at 2:05 p.m.
Dismissal Times
Car riders are dismissed at 3:00 p.m. (Wednesday 2:00 p.m.).

Walkers, Extended Day, bikers, van and bus riders are dismissed at 3:05 p.m. (Wednesday 2:05 p.m.).

  Students are to arrive no earlier than 8:05 a.m. as there is no adult supervision prior to this time. There is supervision provided through the SCPS Extended Day Care program.

5Essentials Survey

Beginning today, January 24th, Seminole County Public Schools’ parents will have an opportunity to participate in the 5Essentials Survey.  Your participation in this survey will help guide school improvement efforts at your student’s school.  This is the second year the district has administered the survey.

Your identity and survey responses are kept completely confidential and will never be connected to you or your student.

In order for a school to receive a Parent Survey Report, at least 20 percent of the parents at a student’s school must complete this survey.  If you have students at multiple Seminole County Public Schools, parents are encouraged to complete a survey for each of their students who are enrolled in a Seminole County Public School. The survey results will be sent to schools and districts the week of April 24th, 2017.

Lunchroom Procedures

Dear Families:

Our goal in the cafeteria is to provide a pleasant place where our students can talk and enjoy lunch in an orderly and mannerly environment. During the first two weeks of school, we are teaching cafeteria procedures and expectations to the students. Visitors are welcome to join their students for lunch after Labor Day. Visitors are not permitted on state testing days and during poor outdoor weather conditions.

Please help us by honoring the following procedures:

• Check-in at the main office and get a Lunch Bunch sticker prior to meeting your child for lunch. This is required for the safety of all. Your name should be listed on the emergency card and you will need to provide a picture ID when you sign in, if you are unknown to the office staff. The administration may approve other visitors not listed on the emergency card at the request of parents/guardians. School volunteers having lunch with their child must also sign in at the front office.

• Please be sure that your Lunch Bunch sticker is visible for staff members. If you are not wearing a Lunch Bunch sticker, you will be asked to return to the main office.

• Please meet your child at the designated eating area outside of the cafeteria, unless directed to do otherwise. Visitors may purchase lunch from the cafeteria.

• Classmates may not join you and your child for lunch. Students may not leave the campus designated areas for lunch. Older or younger siblings visiting for lunch must follow safe dining procedures.

• After the lunch period, please return to the office to sign out.

• Lunch is a time for students to develop friendships and independence. Therefore, please allow them this time to socialize with their peers by limiting your lunch visits.
